Been asked more than a few times why bother putting a wind generator on when you seem to have plenty of power from solar.

Well days like yesterday when the total input for the day from solar was 32 amp hr. The wind made consistent 10-15 amp hr for the last 24 + hours.

Yes when the weather turns foul it is almost certain you will have wind. The wind gen is a Air Breeze 400 watt with the Black blades. A little noisy at times but not that bad over the wind.

In a normal 10/15 kts wind you get 3-5+ amp/hr. Figure every night you get an extra 18+ amps that offset your usage.

And like yesterday best estimate is over 200 amp hr!
